Principal’s Post – Thanksgiving

Dear HPCS Parent,

I wanted to take just a moment to wish you a happy Thanksgiving and a restful break from school this week. I trust you will have a wonderful time with family and friends as you reflect on all that we have to be grateful for in Christ.

Please remember that school will not meet at all on Wednesday, a tradition we started last year.

Also, if your children haven’t notified you yet, Tuesday is “Rivalry Day” at HPCS in celebration of several big football games this week. Students in all grades are encouraged to wear clothing from their favorite sports teams (can be any team, not just college). No need for uniform attire in the upper school on Tuesday–students may wear jeans along with other logo wear, including hats, of their favorite teams.

Finally, please be in prayer for safety for those families who will be travelling over the break. And also please pray for those who have recently lost loved ones or who are going through a difficult time as a family–this Thanksgiving will be bittersweet for these families.

Lord bless you and thank you again for entrusting your children to our care,
