Yearbooks for Sale – $1 each!

On Thursday, February 11, the yearbook staff will be selling previous editions of the yearbook during lunch. All books will be $1 each.

American Heritage Day Program and Lunch – Feb. 12

Join us in the Main Auditorium this Friday, February 12, at 10:20 a.m. for the American Heritage Day Program. Afterwards we will have an All-American lunch. An order form for this meal was sent home last week, and all orders must be received by tomorrow, February 10.

Enrollment for the 2016-17 school year has begun. Registration is $150 per student until March 4. After March 4, the fee will increase. Please consult the 2016-17 rate schedule for more information.

  • To re-enroll a current student, complete the online enrollment in Renweb or fill out a re-enrollment form in the office. The registration fee for re-enrolling students will be billed via Smart Tuition
  • To enroll a new student, please download a new student application from Renweb or our website or fill one out in the office. The registration fee must accompany the application.

Upcoming Basketball Games

  • Thursday and Friday, February 11-12
    • We are hosting the CMSC Conference Tournament (our middle school conference).
    • If the middle school girls win Tuesday’s game, they will play in this tournament.
    • A tournament schedule will be posted on RenWeb on Wednesday, February 10.

SCACS Basketball Playoff and Tournament Information

  • Playoff information is not yet available. Once we have game/opponent info, we will post it on RenWeb.
  • The SCACS State Championship Tournament is Friday and Saturday, February 19-20. Brackets will be available by Wednesday, February 17.

Varsity Girls Soccer Conditioning and Tryouts

Girls in grades 9-12 who are interested in playing soccer are invited to the following pre-season events:

  • Pre-season conditioning
    • Wednesday-Friday, February 10-12, from 3:15-4:00 each day
    • While not required, pre-season conditioning is strongly encouraged
  • Tryouts
    • Tuesday-Thursday, February 16-18, from 3:30-5:30 each day
    • All students must have a current sports physical on file in order to try out for or participate in a sport.

Middle School Girls Soccer Tryouts

Girls in grades 6-8 who are interested in playing soccer are invited to try out next week:

  • Tryouts will be held February 16-18, from 3:30-5:00 each day.
  • All students must have a current sports physical on file in order to try out for or participate in a sport.

Varsity Boys Baseball and Golf Tryouts

Details will be coming soon about tryouts for these teams. All students must have a current sports physical on file in order to try out for or participate in a sport.

General Announcements

Important 2016-17 Dates

  • August 11 – first day for grades 1-12
  • August 15 – first day for Kindergarten
  • September 22-23 – SCACS Teacher’s Convention. Classes will be dismissed at 11:30 on September 21.

Inclement Weather Policy

Hampton Park follows Greenville County Schools (GCS) on the first day of any cancellation, delay, or early closing due to inclement weather. After the first day of an inclement weather event, our plan may differ from GCS. We will post closings and delays on WYFF News 4, Facebook, Twitter, and our website.

In the event of an early closing, parents should pick up their children as quickly as possible.
