The HPCS K4 class is designed to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond! While many daycares provide excellent care for this age group, Hampton Park’s K4 class is much more than a daycare – it’s a head start to a well-rounded academic experience.
Each day, K4 students learn phonics, math, fine motor skills, and Bible, among other subjects, to help them develop important skills they’ll need later. Students learn to pronounce and write the letters of the alphabet and even short words, as well as math concepts in number recognition, counting, measuring, and calendar.
Of course, four year olds need to play, too! Each day is designed to incorporate play time during recess as well as structured play in the classroom, as well!
K4 class is from 8:30-11:20 each day, but a full-day option is available—“Panther PrimeTime.” Full-day students have lunch at school, a rest time, and structured activities until 3:00. Activities emphasize experiential learning in arts & crafts, exploration, home arts, and educational games.
