There will be no school or child care on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8.
Thanksgiving/Christmas Project – Operation Christmas Child
Lower School students have until November 9 to turn in items for Operation Christmas Child. It’s not too late for your child to participate. What can you do?
- Visit our website to see the suggested items to fill the shoeboxes.
- Send in all items by Wednesday, November 9.
- Donate cash to help pay for shipping and supplies (checks should be made out to HPCS).
- Pray that our boxes will be a blessing and that the Gospel will go forth!
Veterans Day Program
Join us on Friday, November 11, as we honor those who serve our country. Our annual Veterans Day Program begins at 10:20 a.m. in the Main Auditorium.
Soccer Camp
The senior members of the Varsity Soccer Team, with direction from Coaches McAdams and Murphy, will host a soccer camp for students in grades 3-6 on November 7, 9, and 10, from 3:15 – 5:00 p.m. The $20 fee includes learning soccer skills, refreshments each day, and a pizza party on the last day. Turn in your form by Friday, November 4!

Lower School SCACS Speech Run-off
The speech run-off for the SCACS Fine Arts competition will be held on Tuesday, November 15. Speech Intent forms were sent home in Lower School students’ folders today and need to be returned by Thursday, November 10. The poems for grades 2-3 and grades 4-6 are on RenWeb and need to be memorized before November 15 if the student plans to compete in the run-off.
Soup Contest Winner!
Congratulations to 6th grader, Daniel Doyel, the first place winner of the soup contest! His yummy tortellini soup recipe will be featured in the lunchroom on November 16. Honorable mention goes to Emily Patterson for her second place finish!
