Principal’s Post – Dec. 22

Dear HPCS Parent,

I have two important requests to make of you as we approach the end of the year.

First, would you consider hosting a Chinese middle school exchange student or chaperon teacher who will be visiting HP from Jan. 13 through Feb. 12? A few families had to drop out because of conflicts that arose, and we are scrambling to find a few more families willing to host a Chinese student or teacher. This is for the same program we had last year to great success. If interested in this wonderful opportunity, please call the office or email me or Jami Murr at jamimurr@hamptonpark.org.

Second, with 2016 coming to an end, would you consider giving toward the STEAM-Powered Initiative fundraiser? We will be ramping up our efforts significantly in the weeks before spring break, but if you’d like to give now and receive a deduction on your 2016 tax return, please visit STEAM for information on the program or HPCS Donation to give online (be sure to select STEAM from the drop down menu). We’ve already reached $15,000 toward our goal of $50,000 to purchase mobile computer labs and other items for our students. Please prayerfully consider how you might invest in our students through this program.

Merry Christmas to you and your family and Happy New Year,

Kevin Priest
