Friday, March 3

Hampton Park Christian School will be hosting the Elementary Fine Arts Festival on Friday, May 3. There will be no school or child care that day.

Ci Mobile Robotics – Lower School

Students in grades 4-6, who are interested in joining our Lego Robotics Team, should consider attending the Lower School Ci Mobile Robotics Workshop, on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 7-8, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. in A-201 (the second floor conference room of the MAC). The cost for the workshop is $45 and will be billed to the Smart account. Space is limited to 24, and the registration deadline is Thursday, March 2. Registration forms are located in the school office.

Re-enrollment materials

Don’t forget to enroll by March 3 to receive the $150 re-enrollment rate. Students registered after March 3 will be charged $300. To re-enroll, click on the Family tab, and click on Enrollment/Re-enrollment. After re-enrolling, click on the FACTS tab to set up the FACTS tuition account for next year. You cannot re-enroll on your smart phone or Ipad.

SCACS Fine Arts Festival – March 3

The SCACS Fine Arts Festival Parent Information sheet went home in folders today. This packet has the running schedule as well as the group lists.

  • Lower School students involved in the SCACS Festival at Hampton Park on March 3, should plan to wear the following:
    • Boys – black or navy dress pants, white shirts, and dark socks and dress shoes
    • Girls – black or navy skirts, white tops, white tights or leggings, and dark dress shoes
  • Lunch tickets may be purchased in the school office from Monday, February 29, through Wednesday, March 1, for $4.00 per lunch which includes pizza, two sides, and a beverage.

General Information

National Geographic Bee

Congratulations to Samuel Lopez, 6th grade student, who has qualified to compete in the state level competition of the National Geographic Bee! The South Carolina State Bee will be held on Friday, March 31, in West Columbia, SC. One champion from each state will advance to the National Geographic Bee Championship held in Washington, D.C., on May 14-18. Great job, Samuel!
