Spring Break

Library Used Book Sale – collecting books throughout April

The Hampton Park Library is collecting books during the month of April for the used book sale to be held May 1-5. The Lower School classes will be having a contest to see which class can bring in the most books. Be looking for books that you can donate to the sale.

Greenville Special Olympics at Furman University – Wednesday, April 19

Grades 9-12 will be serving our community at the Greenville Special Olympics at Furman University on Wednesday, April 19. Parents should go to RenWeb before Tuesday, April 18, and complete the permission form located in Web Forms.

Spring Picture Orders

Please turn in your Spring Picture orders by Friday, April 21.

8th Grade Parent Meeting – April 25, 7:00 p.m.

Please note that the 8th grade parent meeting has a new date. Parents of 8th grade students are invited to an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m. in M-202/204. At this meeting, you will learn strategies for preparing for high school and college.

Chick Fil-A Biscuits – Tuesday, April 25

Tuesday, April 25, will be the last morning the Seniors will be selling Chick Fil-A chicken biscuits. Come hungry and help support the Class of 2017.

STEAM Powered Walk-a-thon

Hampton Park will be holding a Walk-a-thon on Wednesday, April 26, to benefit our STEAM project. Students have until May 3 to collect Walk-a-thon pledges in order to count toward prize totals.

Spring Concert – April 27, 7:00 p.m.

Join us for the Upper School Spring Concert featuring many of the students who competed at the SCACS Fine Arts Festival and the AACS National Fine Arts Festival. The concert is Thursday, April 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Auditorium. All school families are invited to attend.

Outdoor Band Concert – May 9, 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Join us under the Main Portico (feel free to bring your lunch) on May 9, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and hear all of the HPCS bands perform, starting with the Lower School Band and finishing with the Upper School Concert Band.

2017 Summer Sports Camps

Registration is still open for Hampton Park’s Soccer Camp (June 19-22) and Basketball Camp (July 17-20) for students going into grades 1-12. Forms are located in the school office or register online using the following links:

Mirrors for Art Class

We are again collecting hand mirrors or compact mirrors for our art classroom. The mirrors will be used in the 2017-2018 school year. Mirrors may be given directly to Mrs. Panosian or dropped off at the school office.
