Lunch Menu Change

Please note that the lunch menu for this week on Wednesday and Friday has changed. The menu is as follows:

  • Wednesday, April 19 – Sub sandwiches, chips, fruit, cookie
  • Friday, April 21 – Taco lasagna, corn, chips & salsa

Greenville Special Olympics at Furman University – New Date – Friday, April 21

Due to the forecast, the organizers for the Greenville Special Olympics have changed the date for the event to Friday, April 21. Students in grades 9-12 will serve our community by assisting athletes at this Track and Field Event. Students should wear their Connection Week shirts and jeans or knee length shorts. While students may be able to purchase lunch from the Chick fil-A tent, they may want to pack a lunch.

Spring Picture Orders

Spring Picture orders are due by Friday, April 21.

Chick Fil-A Biscuits – Tuesday, April 25

Tuesday, April 25, will be the last morning the Seniors will be selling Chick fil-A chicken biscuits this school year.

8th Grade Parent Meeting – Tuesday, April 25, 7:00 p.m.

Please note that the 8th grade parent meeting has a new date. Parents of 8th grade students are invited to an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m. in M-202/204. At this meeting, you will learn strategies for preparing for high school and college.

STEAM Powered Walk-a-thon – Wednesday, April 26

The Hampton Park Walk-a-thon will be held on Wednesday, April 26. All students should plan to wear the Walk-a-thon shirts, which will be handed out on Monday, April 24. Upper School students may wear shorts to the knee with the Walk-a-thon shirts. Students have until May 3 to collect Walk-a-thon pledges in order to count toward prize totals.

Spring Concert – April 27, 7:00 p.m.

Join us for the Upper School Spring Concert featuring many of the students who competed at the SCACS Fine Arts Festival and the AACS National Fine Arts Festival. The concert is Thursday, April 27, at 7:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium. All school families are invited to attend.

Library Used Book Sale – collecting books throughout April

The Hampton Park Library is collecting books during the month of April for the used book sale to be held May 1-5. The Lower School classes will be having a contest to see which class can bring in the most books. Be looking for books that you can donate to the sale.

Outdoor Band Concert – May 9, 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Join us under the Main Portico (feel free to bring your lunch) on May 9, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and hear all of the HPCS bands perform. The Lower School Band will perform at 11:00 a.m. and the Upper School Concert Band will follow at 11:45 a.m.

2017 Summer Sports Camps

Registration is still open for Hampton Park’s Soccer Camp (June 19-22) and Basketball Camp (July 17-20) for students going into grades 1-12. Forms are located in the school office or register online using the following links:

2017-2018 School Calendar

The 2017-2018 Tentative School Calendar is located in RenWeb under Resource Documents. This calendar will be updated in July and mailed with the Summer Preview.

Re-enrollment

Enrollment is still open! You may re-enroll on RenWeb or in the office. The registration fee is now $300.

Mirrors for Art Class

We are again collecting hand mirrors or compact mirrors for our art classroom. The mirrors will be used in the 2017-2018 school year. Mirrors may be given directly to Mrs. Panosian or dropped off at the school office.
