Upcoming Events

Cross Country Tryouts

Students in grades 5-11 who are interested in Cross Country are invited to attend the Cross Country tryouts on May 9-11, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. by the fountain in front of the gym. Students must only attend one day. Please remember to have a current Pre-Participation Athletic Form on file in the office before trying out.

JV/Varsity Girls’ Volleyball Spring Training

Spring Training for those interested in trying out for JV or Varsity Volleyball will be May 9, 11, and 12, from 3:30-5:15 p.m. in the gym. Remember that students must have a current Pre-Participation Athletic Form on file in the office before trying out for a sport.

Lego Robotics Team

Students in grades 4-6 who are interested in joining the Lego Robotics Team must fill out the application and return it to Mrs. Howell or Mrs. Saldivar by Friday, May 12. Additional applications are located in the school office.

Sports Physicals

We have scheduled a physician to give limited physicals at Hampton Park for students (rising 6th-12th graders) that wish to participate in sports for the 2017-2018 school year. A Sports Physical Information sheet was mailed to parents of students in grades 5-11. The physicals will be offered on Tuesday, May 16, for girls at 6:00 p.m., and for boys at 7:00 p.m. Students should enter at the Panther doors.

Middle School Girls’ Volleyball Tryouts

Girls in grades 5-7 who are interested in playing volleyball for the 2017-2018 school year are invited to come to tryouts on May 17-18, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Please remember that students must have a current Pre-Participation Athletic Form on file in the office before trying out for a sport.

Drama Auditions for 2017-2018 Production

Students in grades 8-11 who are interested in trying out for the 2017-2018 drama production should plan to attend the drama auditions on Wednesday, May 17, or Thursday, May 18, from 3:15-5:00 p.m. in the Collins Auditorium. Students who are interested in performing, working on the stage crew, or helping with lights or makeup should go to one of the audition times.

Sports Banquet – Friday, May 19

Students who participated in a sport during the 2016-2017 school year are invited to attend the Sports Banquet along with their parents. Tickets may be purchased by cash or check in the school office for $8 each. Ticket sales will close on Tuesday, May 16.

Lost and Found

Please make plans to check Lost and Found sometime this month to look for any items that your child may be missing. The Lost and Found will be donated on Thursday, May 25.

2017 Summer Sports Camps

While many students have already signed up, registration is still open for Hampton Park’s Soccer Camp (June 19-22) and Basketball Camp (July 17-20) for students going into grades 1-12. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to take your game to the next level or begin to learn a new sport. Forms are located in the school office or you may register your child online using the following links:

Baseball vs. Faculty/Staff

The baseball team will play SOFTBALL against the Faculty/Staff today, Tuesday, May 9, at 3:30 p.m. on our athletic field. Come out and cheer on our team!

General Information

STEAM Powered Walk-a-thon – RESULTS!

The total money raised for the Walk-a-thon was $38,689.20, which brings our STEAM total over $70,000 – blowing the roof off our $50,000 goal! Thank you for your help in making the Walk-a-thon a success!

    • 3rd place – Tyler Weinmueller – HP Apparel
    • Winning Class – Mrs. Murphy’s 5th Grade – pizza party with Dr. Priest!

Tuition Charges

Tuition charges are billed through May. However, due to the Smart billing scheduling any miscellaneous fees (lunch, child care, makeup sessions, etc.) incurred after April 20, must be billed in June. If you have any miscellaneous charges, you will receive a June bill for those items from Smart Tuition.

Child Care/Late Stay for 2017-2018

Starting in August, Child Care/Late Stay will be closing thirty minutes earlier, at 5:30 p.m. rather than at 6:00 p.m. This change will not go into effect until next school year.
