Dear HPCS Parent,
I’m very pleased to announce that Mrs. Maria Wooldridge and Mrs. Tami Bennett will be joining the HPCS staff this coming fall!
With the retirement of Mrs. Whitaker and with Mrs. Fitzgerald going full-time as our lower school supervisor, Maria will be teaching K5. Maria has a bachelor’s degree is early childhood education and a master’s in curriculum and instruction: reading with an emphasis in elementary education. Maria is state certified and taught in the Greenville County system for five years. She is married to Ryan Wooldridge, our fine arts director.
Tami Bennett will be stepping into the role of child care director to replace Teresa Caldwell. She’ll oversee kindergarten early stay, Panther Prime Time (our full-day kindergarten program), and late stay. Tami is a mom of four and is married to Dr. Jim Bennett from Clemson University; Jim has facilitated our Chinese student program and spoken for us in faculty in-service. Tami has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is a PCT, having worked in the children’s ICU at Greenville Memorial Hospital for the past two years.
We’re thrilled to have these ladies coming on board this fall—I know you’ll love them both!
P.S. Please continue to pray for our upper school social studies hire; I hope to have an announcement to you soon.
