General Information

Upper School students should be reminded to obtain cuts permission forms in order to attend activities (vacations, traffic court, mission trips, etc) that are not normally excused. Excused absences include doctor appointments, sickness, or funerals. Students are limited to five cuts days per year. Cuts permissions may not be taken if they will cause a student to go beyond ten days of absence for a full credit class or five days of absence for a half credit class, or if a student will be missing a class in which he has had a failing grade in the last quarter or is currently failing. Students obtaining cuts should obtain the form from the office, get all of his teachers’ signatures once his parent has signed the form, and return the cuts form to the office at least two days before the cuts are taken.
