Flu Season at HPCS

During this particularly difficult flu season we’re working hard to keep our school clean and safe for our students, faculty, and staff.

  • We’re frequently wiping down surfaces with a hospital-grade sanitizing cleaner.
  • We’re asking parents to remember the 24-hour rule: Please do not send your child to school until they have been fever free without the use of medications for AT LEAST 24 hours. Also, students who have been ill with a stomach virus should be completely symptom free for at least 24 hours before returning to school.
  • We’re encouraging students to wash their hands frequently. The CDC says that washing hands is one of the best ways to prevent germs from spreading.

Thank you for keeping sick children home so they can recover and come back to school after they are well!
