Upcoming Events

Cross Country Tryouts

Cross Country Tryouts continue through Thursday, May 17, from 3:30-4:15 p.m., for students in grades 5-11 who are interested in cross country. Students only need to attend one day in order to tryout for the sport.

Middle School Girls Volleyball Tryouts

MS Girls Volleyball Tryouts for grades 5-7 will be held Tuesday through Thursday, May 15-17, from 3:30-5:00 p.m., in the gym.

Used Computer Equipment Purge

Hampton Park has some technological equipment that is being made available to our school families for a donation. Please plan to visit our “Technology Purge” in M-118 (Library Reference Room) on Tuesday, May 15, through Friday, May 18, from 3:20-4:00 p.m. Included in the equipment are laptops and projectors (both short throw and regular). Donations will go toward the school’s STEAM fund.

Outdoor Band Concert

The Outdoor Band Concert will be moving indoors to avoid the rainy weather that is forecast. It will take place on Wednesday, May 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the MAC. The concert will begin with the 5th and 6th grade bands at 11:00 a.m. and will be followed by the Junior High and High School bands at noon. Feel free to bring your lunch.

Chess Club Informational Meeting

If you would like to learn more information about the Chess Club for the 2018-2019 school year, please stop by M-213 on Thursday, May 17, at 3:30 p.m.

JV/Varsity Boys Basketball “Meet and Greet”

Boys in grades 8-11 who are interested in playing basketball for the 2018-2019 school year are invited to attend a “Meet and Greet” on Thursday, May 17, at 3:30 p.m., in M-209. Come meet the new coach, Jon Edwards – he would like to meet the players!

Kindergarten Graduation

You are invited to attend the Kindergarten Graduation on Thursday, May 17, at 7:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium.

Field Day

Weather permitting, Field Day for students in grades 1-3 will be Friday, May 18.

  • The rain date is Tuesday, May 22. We will communicate as soon as a decision is made to use the rain date.
  • If a parent or grandparent plans to eat lunch in the Lunchroom with a student, please let that student’s teacher know the morning of the event.
  • The event will conclude with a closing ceremony where ribbons will be awarded.
  • After the events conclude, students may be checked out by a parent or may stay and complete the school day.

Child Care – Friday, May 18

If the weather is overly hot or rainy on Friday, May 18, the Child Care will move to the Yearick Center Gym on Friday afternoon. Please make a note of this change.

Sports Banquet – Friday, May 18

The Sports Banquet is Friday, May 18, at 6:00 p.m., in the MAC. Tickets may be purchased by cash or check in the school office for $8 each. TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY TO PURCHASE TICKETS.

Last Day of School for K4/K5

The last day of school for K4 and K5 is Friday, May 18. This is also the last day for Child Care.

Sports Physicals

We have scheduled a physician to give limited physicals at Hampton Park for students (rising grades 6-12) that wish to participate in sports for the 2018-2019 school year. A Sports Physical Information sheet will be mailed to parents of students in grade 5-11. The physicals will be offered for $15 (billed to student’s FACTS account) on Monday, May 21, at 6:00 p.m., for girls, and at 7:00 p.m., for boys. Students should enter at the Panther doors and will be directed where to go.

Lost and Found

Please make plans to check Lost and Found as you are on campus for Field Day, Awards Programs, Class Parties, and more. The last day to check Lost and Found is Thursday, May 24.

2018 Commencement

All school families are invited to attend the Commencement for the Class of 2018 on Friday, May 25, at 7:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium.

Tommy Hilfiger Uniform Sale

Tommy Hilfiger will be having a 20% off Uniform Sale on June 19-July 2.

Panthers in Action

Varsity Girls Basketball – Summer Camp

Girls who will be in grades 9-12 and are planning to try out for basketball next school year are invited to attend BJU’s Basketball Camp this summer with Coach Sherf. The camp takes place on June 14-16. To find out more details or to sign up, please contact Coach Sherf at paulandmelody@yahoo.com.

2018 Summer Sports Camps

Register for Hampton Park’s Soccer Camp (June 18-21) and Basketball Camp (July 16-19) by May 20 to receive a discount and guarantee a shirt. Forms are located in the school office or you may register online using the following links:

Panther TRACK Program

For information about Panther TRACK (Tutoring, Remedial instruction, Accommodations, Counseling, and Kinesthetic development), please contact Michelle Grover at michellegrover@hamptonpark.org.

Sell Textbooks

The bulletin board in the hallway by the office is available all summer for you to post books you’d like to sell and find books you would like to purchase. Please list the books you have, what grades use those books, and a way to contact you.

Textbook Buyback Through MBSDirect

Information was given to students and emailed to all families for the textbook buyback through MBSDirect. This information is also located on RenWeb under Resource Documents.

Tuition Charges

Tuition charges are billed through May. However, due to the FACTS billing scheduling, any miscellaneous fees (lunch, child care, makeup sessions, etc.) incurred after mid-April, will be due in June. If you have any miscellaneous charges, you will receive a June bill for those items from FACTS.

Used Uniform Sale

Our annual Used Uniform Sale will be held during the last week of July. Watch for details in the summer edition of the Hampton Park Preview.

Summer Office Hours

The school office is open throughout the summer from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Friday.
