Re-enrollment for 2019-2020
It’s not too late to re-enroll online at the early bird rate of $200. Due to the new online enrollment process, the deadline has been extended to Friday, March 8. As you re-enroll, don’t forget to upload the form 2900 in order to complete the enrollment process. Are you having problems submitting the forms? Try using a different browser.
SCACS Fine Arts Rehearsal (Grades 7-12) – Thursday, March 7
All parents are invited to attend the SCACS Fine Arts Rehearsal on Thursday, March 7, in the Main Auditorium, and are welcome to come and go throughout the evening. This program is a rehearsal for the competition held in Columbia on March 15-16. Participating students only need to be at school while their ensemble is performing and should wait in the auditorium watching other ensembles until their group’s performance time. Parents, please pick up students in grades 7-8 by 8:00 p.m. Students should come in school dress unless instructed otherwise. The rehearsal is as follows:
- 6:45 Band arrives
- 7:00 Upper School Band – Grades 7-12
- 7:30 Middle School Choir and Small Ensembles
- 7:45 High School Choir arrives
- 8:00 High School Choirs and Ensembles
- 8:30 Speech
Drop by the office for free Circus tickets which admits one child ages 2-13 with a paid adult. The circus is on Monday and Tuesday, March 11-12, at the Convention Center. Go to www.GardenGrosCircus.com for more details.
SCACS High School Fine Arts Festival – March 14-15
- Permission forms for students attending SCACS on March 14-15 are due by Thursday, March 7. The lunch count must be turned in that day, so students registering after the deadline will have to pack a lunch.
- The schedule of events that will take place on Thursday and Friday is located on the permission form. A running schedule and information sheet will be posted this week.
- Transportation information is also located on the permission form. Please note that a student may not drive another student to the Festival. Details about when the buses will depart and return to campus will be posted on the running schedule and information sheet.
Please note that Upper School students who do not attend the SCACS Fine Arts Festival will NOT have school on Thursday and Friday, March 14-15.
Spring Pictures are scheduled for Monday, March 18.
Parents are invited to attend Hampton Park’s first Science Fair on Tuesday, March 26. This first year will give us an opportunity to learn and each year following we hope the program will grow. In addition to fostering a love of science, we hope that eventually Upper School students will represent Hampton Park at the SCACS Fine Arts Festival in this category. Students in grades 3, 5, and 7, will be participating in the fair with all of the work taking place in the classroom. Judging will take place on Monday, March 25. Parents are invited to visit the Science Fair on Tuesday, March 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the MAC (A Building).
Achievement Testing will take place the week of April 1-5 for students in grades K5-12.

Early Dismissal – April 5
On Friday, April 5, students in grades 1-12 will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. K4 and K5 will have a regular schedule.
The Junior-Senior Banquet will be held on Friday, April 5, at 7:00 p.m. in the MAC (A Building).
Jan Sinde, our Lower School PE teacher, is organizing our Field Day this year which will take place on April 10. We are excited about the changes that Jan has planned. Grades 1-3 will have field day in the morning before lunch and regularly scheduled classes in the afternoon. Grades 4-6 will have their regular morning classes and field day in the afternoon after lunch. April 11 is the rain date. Be watching for more details coming out soon!
Spring Break is Monday, April 15, through Monday, April 22. There will be no school or child care on these days.
