Upcoming Events

Varsity Boys Soccer Tryouts

Boys in grades 8-11 who are interested in playing soccer in the 2019-2020 school year are invited to tryouts. The tryouts take place on Tuesday and Thursday, May 14 and 16, from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

Kindergarten Graduation

You are invited to attend the Kindergarten Graduation on Thursday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium.

Last Day of School for K4 and K5

The Last Day of School for K4 and K5 is Friday, May 17. This is also the last day for Child Care.

Sports Banquet

The Sports Banquet is Friday, May 17, at 6:00 p.m., in the MAC (A Building). Tickets may be purchased by cash or check in the school office for $9 each. TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY TO PURCHASE TICKETS. Students will want to know that the dress for the banquet is school dress or nicer.

Last Day of School for K4-K5

The last day of school for K4 and K5 is Friday, May 17. This is also the last day for Child Care.

Upper School Exam Schedule

Upper School students will want to make a note of the exam schedule for Monday-Wednesday, May 20-22.

  • Monday, May 20 – 5th hour, 4th hour (M/W classes), 6th hour
  • Tuesday, May 21 – 2nd hour, 4th hour (T/Th classes), 7th hour
  • Wednesday, May 22 – 1st hour, 3rd hour, chapel

Please note that 7th and 8th grades will follow this schedule for their regular classes.

Records Day

Thursday, May 23, is records day, and there is no school.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found items will be available through Friday, May 24. Please take time to visit Lost and Found in the MAC and claim any items belonging to your family.

2018 Commencement

All school families are invited to attend the Commencement for the Class of 2019 on Friday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium.

General Information

Summer Office Hours

The school office is open throughout the summer from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Friday.

MBS Textbook Buyback

If you have textbooks that you purchased from MBS and would like to get an online buyback quote, you can follow these directions on this file.

Sell Textbooks

The bulletin board in the hallway by the office is available all summer for you to post books you’d like to sell and find books you would like to purchase. Please list the books you have, what grades use those books, and a way to contact you. Please use 3 x 5 or 4 x 6 cards only.

Tuition Charges

Tuition charges are billed through May. However, due to the FACTS billing scheduling, any miscellaneous fees (lunch, child care, makeup sessions, etc.) incurred after mid-April, will be due in June. If you have any miscellaneous charges, you will receive a June bill for those items from FACTS.

2019-2020 School Calendar

The 2019-2020 School Calendar is now on ParentsWeb under Resource Documents. This calendar is tentative and will be replaced by the calendar that comes out in July.
