Upcoming Events

Library Used Book Sale

The Library Used Book Sale continues through Friday, May 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Drop by and snag a book for $1 or less. Friday, May 10, is the half-price day.

Rising 7th Grade Parents-Only Meeting

Parents of 6th graders are reminded of the informational meeting tonight (Tuesday, May 7) at 7:00 p.m., in M202/204. Please enter at the doors between the Panther Doors and the Main Auditorium.

Drama Production Tryouts

Students in grades 8-11 who would like to be involved in the 2019-2020 drama production are invited to attend the tryouts. The tryouts will be held on May 13-14, from 3:30-5:00 p.m., in the Collins Auditorium. Interested students should plan to attend one of the tryouts, do not need to prepare anything in advance, and may try out for a speaking part or technical role.

Kindergarten Graduation

The Kindergarten Graduation will be held on Thursday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium.

Last Day of School for K4 and K5

The Last Day of School for K4 and K5 is Friday, May 17. This is also the last day for Child Care.

Sports Banquet

Students in grades 6-12 who participated in a sport in the 2018-2019 school year are encouraged to attend the Sports Banquet along with their parents. The banquet will be held on Friday May 17, at 6:00 p.m., in the MAC (A Building). Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased in the office for $9 each (cash or check only). Ticket sales will close on Tuesday, May 14. Due to limited seating, the banquet is for immediate family only.

Seniors should plan to purchase tickets before leaving on the senior trip due to the May 14 deadline.

Upper School Exam Schedule

Upper School students will want to make a note of the exam schedule for Monday-Wednesday, May 20-22.

  • Monday, May 20 – 5th hour, 4th hour (M/W classes), 6th hour
  • Tuesday, May 21 – 2nd hour, 4th hour (T/Th classes), 7th hour
  • Wednesday, May 22 – 1st hour, 3rd hour, chapel

Please note that 7th and 8th grades will follow this schedule but will not have exams.

Records Day

Thursday, May 23, is records day and there is no school.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found items will be available through Friday, May 24. Please take time to visit Lost and Found in the MAC and claim any items belonging to your family.

2018 Commencement

Mark your calendars to attend the Commencement for the Class of 2019 on Friday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium.

Spring Sports – Final Games

Thursday or Friday, May 9-10

  • Be watching for details if our MS Girls Soccer team qualifies for the CMSC tournament.

Cross Country Tryouts

Cross Country tryouts continue through Wednesday, May 8, from 3:30-4:15 p.m., for students in grades 5-11 who are interested. Meet by the fountain in front of the gym. A student only needs to attend tryouts until he or she runs a 9-minute mile.

MS Girls Volleyball Tryouts

Girls in grades 5-7 who are interested in trying out for volleyball for the 2019-2020 school year should attend the tryouts on Thursday, May 9; Tuesday, May 14; and Thursday, May 16. Tryouts will take place in the gym from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

General Information

Summer Office Hours

The school office is open throughout the summer from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Friday.

Tuition Charges

Tuition charges are billed through May. However, due to the FACTS billing scheduling, any miscellaneous fees (lunch, child care, makeup sessions, etc.) incurred after mid-April, will be due in June. If you have any miscellaneous charges, you will receive a June bill for those items from FACTS.

2019-2020 School Calendar

The 2019-2020 School Calendar is now on ParentsWeb under Resource Documents. This calendar is tentative and will be replaced by the calendar that comes out in July.
