There will be no school or child care on September 26-27.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found is located in the MAC (A Building) and is overflowing with shirts, hoodies, lunchboxes, water bottles, shoes, and more. Please take time to drop by and claim items belonging to your family. Friday, September 27, is the final day to claim the current items.

Make Up Picture Day

Make Up Picture Day is scheduled for October 22.

Lower School Only

Library Book Fair – October 1-4

The Fall Book Sale is an Usborne Book Fair and will be held on October 1-4. Parents are welcome to drop by the library from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to look at catalogs, visit the Usborne display, and view the teachers’ wish lists.

  • Complete a wish list (sent home to students or in the library).
  • Please include sales tax with your order.
  • Checks made payable to Hampton Park Christian School (HPCS)/Cash must be exact or rounded up (no change given).
  • No shipping will be charged on orders placed at school and will be delivered to Hampton Park.
  • Books ordered through school will arrive within 3-4 weeks and be distributed to students (unless specified as a gift).

All orders need to be in by Tuesday, October 8

Fine Arts – Lower School Speech Information

The Speech Information sheets were sent home to students in grades 2-6 last week. Students who would like to try out for a speech category should memorize the poem on the form (also on FACTS/ParentsWeb under Resource Documents). Be watching for details about the online registration for all fine arts events which will take place from November 1-15.

Senior Carnival – October 18

Mark your calendars to attend the Senior Carnival! Details will be going home next week.

No Child Care – October 18

Please make a note and plan ahead, on the day of our Senior Carnival on Friday, October 18, we will NOT have Child Care. Any Lower School student who attends Senior Carnival should have adult supervision for the event.


Please make every effort to use caution while driving in the carline. Always use your name tag. Observe the “no cell phones in carline” policy. Be mindful of your speed and do not allow large gaps to form between cars. Please help us keep our students safe at carline.

Upper School Only

College Meeting

Parents of students in grades 9-12, please be reminded of the College Meeting tonight (Tuesday, September 24) at 7:00 p.m., in M-202/204. Please enter through the doors between the Panther Doors and the Main Auditorium.

Panthers in Action

Baseball Team Optional Batting Practice

Boys in grades 7-12 are invited to attend the optional batting practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., in the Warehouse throughout the month of October. As a reminder, the baseball team competes in the spring. If you have questions, please contact Coach Manges at 864.360.5457.

HPCS Branded and Uniform Apparel – Sold by the Seniors

The senior class still has many articles of uniform clothing for $4 each. The items include uniform shirts, jackets, hoodies, sweaters, and sweatshirts. There are khaki, navy, and black pants, P.E. shorts and shirts, and khaki-style shorts and skirts. Sizes range from youth small through adult large. Feel free to drop by the Main Building before or after school to be directed to Miss Herdklotz’s classroom.

Moms In Prayer

Moms in Prayer meets every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., in M-202/204. All ladies are welcome to join this prayer group!
